A Big Thank You From Nick's Restaurant

Nick's wants to Thank all who attended the BAH event and strongly encourage those who could not make it to attend the next one at Kil Kare Raceway.  We encourage everyone to share your thoughts and feedback on our event.  Together we can make our monthly networking events something to really look forward too.  These events hold the potential to increase our membership and empower more strength in our chamber.  Nick’s is a proud sponsor of the Xenia Chamber of Commerce and put that in print on all our advertising.  We strongly believe in supporting one another in business and wish success and growth for all.

Our goal for the BAH event we held was to have a fun event with lots of prizes. We wanted to "break the ice" and have a meet and greet that was in a social and relaxed environment.  Most of us already know and are familiar with one another, so we should always be proud of our chamber and feel free to invite potential and new members personally. Let's Grow!

One thing we did not do was to speak in detail about our first year in business and some have questioned our success and or experience so we would like to share that with our fellow Chamber Members at this time.  We purchased Nick's in Late June of 2009.  The history, widely known, had 61 years of hard work, late nights & good times under its belt already.  Our goal and business plan was to provide the community with an exceptional choice in dining, to serve Xenia residents while building our business through continued growth with a commitment to reinvesting in the community and our business. Our slogan: "Great Food & Fun everyday of the Week" in the City of Hospitality. Yes Xenia - This is you! Hospitality by definition is the friendly reception and treatment of guests or strangers, the quality or disposition of receiving and treating guests or strangers in a warm, friendly, generous way. Nick's way! It has been a big change in our personal lives but one we are very grateful and appreciative of.  Marc's background as an Aircraft Technician made for an exciting adventure in the restaurant and bar business.  Almost a year later he is on top of it all.  He works endless hours and will tell you that it is a business that requires hands on and demands your attention 24/7.  We appreciate the support of the community, the hard working staff and are so happy to have met the most wonderful group of people.  We are proud to be a part of the Xenia area and the Chamber of Commerce.  In our opinion, Xenia residents are survivors! Not only of devastation and the failing economy but in everyday life as well!

We have some success to share:

We are proud to say that we have increased employment in Xenia, currently having 35 employees from the 7 we started with.  We are in the process of re-investing in the business and making improvements.   We have made an investment in this community and plan to grow and improve with the continued support of our staff and patrons. Whether you are looking for Family Friendly Dining, Hot wings & A Ball Game, Entertainment or cold spirits, Nick's is the place to be!
