Xenia Library Announces July Programs

Exciting and fun programs for people of all ages are being planned at the Xenia Community Library, 76 East Market Street.

July Story Times
 
A Music & Movement story time for ages 2-5 will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Wed., July 7, 14, 21 and 28, at 10:30 a.m.
 
A Music & Movement story time for ages 2-5 will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., July 6 and 13, at 6 p.m.
 
A Baby Story Time for ages 0-2 will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Fri., July 9, 16, 23 and 30, at 10:30 a.m.
 
 
July Children¹s Programs
 
Title Waves Tween Book Club for ages 9-12 will meet at the Xenia Community Library on Thurs., July 15, at 4 p.m. Discuss great books with other booklovers. Ask at the desk for this month¹s topic. Registration required.

A 4th of July craft program for ages 5+ will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Fri., July 2, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Drop in and make a fun craft for the 4th of July.
 
Shark Attack! a program for ages 8+, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., July 6, at 2 p.m. Make a shark craft, play shark games, and watch a shark movie! Registration required. Call 352-4000.
 
T-shirt decorating for all ages (8 and under w/ adult) will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Fri., July 9, at 2-4 p.m. Bring a solid-colored t-shirt to decorate.
 
Splish, Splash, Fun! a program for ages 5 and under, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Mon., July 12, at 11 a.m. Preschoolers make a splash with water play on the patio, weather permitting. Registration required. Call 352-4000.
 
Tie-dye t-shirts, a program for ages 10+, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., July 13, at 2 p.m. Bring a white t-shirt to create a tie-dye design using permanent markers. Registration required. Call 352-4000.
 
Balloon Sculpting with Lea Craine, a program for ages 8+, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Wed., July 14, at 2:30 p.m. Learn to twist balloons into hats, dogs, and more! Registration required. Call 352-4000.
 
Sidewalk Chalk, a program for all ages, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Fri., July 16, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Drop in and decorate the sidewalks using chalk.

Adult Computer Lab will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Sat., July 10 and 31, at 2 p.m.
 
Sarah Goslee Reed performs at the Xenia Community Library on Thurs., July 8, at 6:30 p.m. Sarah is a singer, songwriter, guitarist and violinist whose songs delight.
 
A Book Club discussion for ages 18+ will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Fri., July 9, at 10:15 a.m. Join a book discussion<everyone is welcome. Call for title.
 
An Internet Applied class for ages 18+ will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., July 13, at 5 p.m. Learn how to search and browse the Internet.
 
Folk Songs of the Great Lakes, a program for all ages, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., July 13, at 6:30 p.m. Join an evening of songs of the Great Lakes with folk singer Lee Murdock.
 
Helping your Lawn, Trees, and Flowers Through the Hot, Dry Summer, a program for ages 18+, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Thurs., July 22, at 6:30 p.m. Help landscaping survive through the hot, dry summer months.
 
An Introduction to the Computer class for ages 18+ will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Wed., July 28, at 10 a.m. Join a class for beginning computer users.
