XACC Partners In Education Scholarship Winners Announced
Xenia High School seniors Jacob Wuebben and Francesca Couser were named recipients of the 2010 Student Service Scholarships during the school's annual Scholarship Awards Assembly on May 14. The $500 scholarships are sponsored by the Chamber’s Partners in Education Committee with matching funds provided by Greene County Higher Education Opportunities.
Wuebben serves as a co-valedictorian at the Greene County Career Center as a member of the Power Equipment Mechanics programs. He currently serves as President of FFA's District 9 and has competed on the district and state level in FFA Career Development Events. This past school year he placed 5th in District 9 in Ag Industrial Diagnostics. His plans are to attend Ohio State University's ATI in Wooster and major in Ag Education. Jacob is the son of Jeff and Terri Wuebben of Xenia.
Couser was a member of the National Honor Society, vocal ensemble and Renaissance at Xenia High School. She will attend Cedarville University and major in Nursing. Francesca is the daughter of Greg and Ronna Couser of Xenia.
