Penny challenge raises funds for Haiti relief at Tecumseh Elementary School
Tecumseh Elementary School students recently collected $1,700 for the American Red Cross and their Haiti relief efforts with their Penny Challenge. The campaign started with pennies but grew to include silver coins, paper money and checks. The class that raised the most funds was rewarded with a pizza party. Steve Duelley from Security National Bank, was instrumental in approving bank employees to count all the pennies and coins.
