Standing Room Only at Xenia Chamber of Commerce Social Networking Seminar
Business and community leaders discovered standing room only at the recent "Twitter, Facebook and MySpace Demystified" seminar offered by the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce (XACC) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 24, at the Holiday Inn of Xenia. Professional speaker, author and marketing consultant Ted Janusz was the featured guest.
The event was free to all individual and business chamber members and was sponsored by the chamber's XACC Professional Outreach Committee, a group of marketing and public relations professionals. Information at the seminar focused on leveraging tools such as Linkedln, Twitter, MySpace, Facebook and YouTube for increased business and expanded marketing efforts.
Holiday Inn of Xenia donated the use of their facility with Elmcroft of Xenia donating all beverages for the seminar.
"The chamber is dedicated to offering growth opportunities and information to our members to make our community even stronger," says XACC President Alan Liming.
A Flip camcorder donated by Greene Oaks and Docton Animal Clinic was awarded to Patrick Lawler from Phillips Sand and Gravel as a door prize.
