Triage Training for Greene County Medical Reserve Corps, Citizen Corps and Other Volunteers
The Greene County Combined Health District (GCCHD) will hold a Triage Training class on three (3) individual days: Thursday, April 8, 2010, Friday, April 9, 2010 and Saturday, April 10, 2010. Participants need only attend one of the three days.
The class focuses on increasing first responder readiness, triage skills and treatment and transport required during multiple patient or mass casualty incidents. Successful participants of class will earn 6.5 nursing contact hours provided by Sinclair Community College. Snacks, refreshments and lunch will be provided. This training is open to health care professionals, medical volunteers and other interested persons. The training will be provided at no cost and is sponsored by GCCHD and the Greene County Emergency Management Agency through grants from the National Association County and City Health Officials and the Ohio Emergency Management Agency.
The training schedule is as follows:
• Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.: Greene County Media Center, 541 Ledbetter Rd., Xenia, Ohio 45385.
• Friday, April 9, 2010 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.: Greene County Media Center, 541 Ledbetter Rd., Xenia, Ohio 45385.
• Saturday, April 10, 2010 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.: Greene County Media Center, 541 Ledbetter Rd., Xenia, Ohio 45385.
