Xenia Library Announces March Programs
Exciting and fun programs for people of all ages are being planned at the Xenia Community Library, 76 East Market Street.
March Story Times
Toddler Story Time for ages 2-3 will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Wed., Mar. 3-31, at 10:30 a.m. Registration required.
Preschool Story Time for ages 4-5 will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Wed., Mar. 3-31, at 10:30 a.m. Registration required.
Baby Story Time for ages 6-24 months will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Fri., Mar. 5-26, at 10:30 a.m. Registration required.
March Children’s Programs
Tween Book Club for ages 9-12 will meet at the Xenia Community Library on Thurs., Mar. 18, at 4 p.m. Join this group to discuss good reads. Registration required.
Get Your Game On! a program for ages 8-12, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Thurs., Mar. 25, at 4 p.m. Join the fun and games with the PS2, Wii, and Gamecubes. Registration required.
Dr. Seuss’ Birthday for ages 5-10 will be celebrated at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., Mar. 2, at 4 p.m. Celebrate the birthday of the beloved author with fun and games and treats. Registration required.
A Lego Building Challenge for ages 7-12 will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Thurs., Mar. 4, at 4 p.m. Love Legos? Bring some bricks to win the building challenge! Registration required.
A Princess Party for ages 4-8 will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Sat., Mar. 6, 11 a.m. Dress in royal finery and enjoy princess stories, cookies and tea, crafts and fun.
Celebrate Author Bill Martin’s Birthday at the Xenia Community Library on Thurs., March 18, at 6 p.m. All ages are invited to celebrate this popular author’s birthday by enjoying some of his classic books, including Chicka Chicka Boom Boom.
March Teen Programs
(for ages 12-18)
Anime Club for ages 12-18 will meet at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., Mar. 2, at 4 p.m. Watch anime and discuss favorites with friends. Permission slip is required; ask at the Youth Services Desk. Registration required.
Wii Got Game, a program for ages 12-18, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., Mar. 16, at 4 p.m. Join the fun and games with the PS2, Gamecubes, and Wii. Registration required.

Xenia Night at the Movies, a program for ages 18+, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Thurs., Mar. 18, at 5:30 p.m. Screen a newly released DVD blockbuster.
Introduction to the Internet, a program for ages 18+, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., Mar. 9, from 5-7 p.m. Learn the basics of using the Internet. Registration required.
Internet Applied, a program for ages 18+, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Wed., Mar. 24, from 10 a.m.-noon. Get some more hands-on experience searching the web. Registration required.
Protecting Yourself and Your Home, a program for ages 18+, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., Mar. 2, from 6-7 p.m. Xenia policeman Fred Barker discusses personal and home safety, and answers questions.
Celtic Academy of Irish Dance, a program for all ages, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Wed., Mar. 17, at 4 p.m. Enjoy a St. Patrick’s Day performance by Dayton’s premier school of Irish Dance.
Crookit Mick, a program for all ages, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Sun., Mar. 21, at 3 p.m. Contemporary Celtic musicians return to their traditional Irish and Scottish roots.
