SAS Automation Hosts February Business After Hours

February brought yet another victorious Business After Hours for XACC!  Last Thursday, February 11, SAS Automation (located in Xenia off S. Patterson Road) hosted the second consecutive BAH event.

SAS Automation produced a successful turn-out, with over 70 guests in attendance.  As guests entered the facility, they were immediately greeted by the Xenia Chamber of Commerce’s Hospitality Team, and Mr. Trent Fisher, President of SAS Automation.  Guests were directed to sign in and drop their business cards into the bucket for their chance to win the fabulous prize basket at the end of the year!   Remember, new on the scene with the after-hours events hosted by the Chamber is “Bucket to Basket” raffle.  Every attendee of the Business After Hours is requested to submit one business card per event into a large silver bucket, which registers them to win the prize basket at the December 2010 Business After Hours.  The basket consists of gift cards, cash prizes, entertainment tickets, and much more.  The value of the basket is already up to $1,700!  You must attend BAH in order to enter your card and must be present at the December event to win the basket.

After dropping their winning cards into the bucket, guests then were taken through the facility and into a large meeting room filled with delicious refreshments and beverages.  As businessmen and women exchanged their business cards and company profile information, tours were also continually given throughout the evening of the SAS Automation building, and picture slideshows were displayed to describe what exactly SAS Automation does for their clients.  One of the many benefits of hosting a Business After Hours is getting the word out about your company in a creative way! Throughout the evening, numerous door prizes consisting of floral arrangements, t-shirts, theatre tickets, and more were given to those raffle winners in attendance. 

A “Split the Pot” raffle is always offered at the Business After Hours events and tickets are sold at the registration table.  You will receive one ticket for $1 or six tickets for $5.  You do not have to be present to win, which increases your chance of taking home a cash prize!  All the monies collected from the raffle is used for the XACC Student Services Scholarship.

There is always a fun raffle or activity at every BAH event, and you could be the next guest to take home fabulous prizes!  Business After Hours are always held on the second Thursday of the month to help solidify the unity of businesses in the Xenia area and for the people you meet there to walk away remembering your name and company profile.
