Xenia Library Announces December Programs

Exciting and fun programs for people of all ages are being planned at the Xenia Community Library, 76 East Market Street.

December Story Times

Baby Story Time for ages 6-24 months will be held at the Xenia Community Library on
Mon., Nov. 30; Dec. 7, 14, at 10 a.m. Registration required. Call 352-4000 x4. 

Preschool Story Time for ages 4-5 will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Wed., Dec. 2, 9, 16, at 10 a.m. Registration required. Call 352-4000 x4. 

Toddler Story Time for ages 2-3 will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Thurs., Dec. 3, 10, 17, at 10 a.m. Registration required. Call 352-4000 x4. 


December Children’s Programs

Gift Bags & Tags, a program for ages 7-12, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Thurs., Dec. 3, at 4 p.m. Make decorative gift bags and tags for the holidays. Registration required. Call 352-4000 x4. 

Pinecone Decorations, a program for all ages, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Sat., Dec. 12, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Drop in and decorate a pinecone for home, and another for the birds to enjoy.

The Tween Book Club for ages 9-12 will meet at the Xenia Community Library on
Thurs., Dec. 17, at 4 p.m. Discuss books to read! Registration required. Call 352-4000 x4. 

Wii Got Game, a program for ages 9+, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., Dec. 29, at 2 p.m. There will be fun and games with the PS2, Game Cubes, and Wii. Registration required. Call 352-4000 x4. 


December Teen Programs
(ages 12-18)

The Anime Club for ages 12-18 will meet at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., Dec. 1, at 4 p.m. Watch anime and discuss favorites with friends. Registration required. Call 352-4000 x4. 

Marble Magnets, a program for ages 12-18, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., Dec. 8, at 4 p.m. Make cute marble magnets and decorate a tin in which to keep them. Registration required. Call 352-4000 x4. 

The Teen Book Club, for ages 12-18, will meet at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., Dec. 15, at 4 p.m. Discuss great books with others who love to read. Registration required. Call 352-4000 x4. 

Wii Got Game, a program for ages 12-18, will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., Dec. 29, at 2 p.m. Join the fun and games with the PS2, Gamecubes, and Wii. Registration required. Call 352-4000 x4. 


December Adult Programs
(for ages 18+ unless noted)

A DVD Premier will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Tues., Dec. 8, from 4-7:15 p.m. See the latest Harry Potter movie in the downstairs meeting room. Everyone is welcome to attend.

Live at the Library: Kendra Ward and Bob Bence will be held at the Xenia Community Library on Thurs., Dec 10, at 7 p.m. Celebrate the holidays with hammered dulcimer music.
