CSU Art Unit Now Nationally Accredited.

William Henry Caldwell acting Chairperson in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts announced this week that the Art Unit in the Department of Fine and Performing Arts is now a fully accredited member of the National Association of Schools of Art and Design.  The official announcement was made at the annual conference for the National Association of Schools of Art and Design in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania last week. The following faculty members attended the conference:

Dr. Ronald Claxton
Professor Dwayne Daniel
Professor Abner Cope
Professor Kenneth Pointer

The Department of Fine and Performing Arts is now fully accredited.  The Music Department was accredited in 1964 and now the Art Unit can share the same this distinction.
