WGC Turkey Shoot Golf Outing

WGC Golf Course in partnership with GROCERYLAND will be hosting the annual Turkey Shoot golf outing on Saturday, October 10,2009.

ALL PROCEEDS, go toward charity, NOT JUST THE PROFITS.

Each year this event has served more and more of Xenia's needy. The money is given to GROCERYLAND who then distributes vouchers for complete Thanksgiving dinners to the Fish Pantry. In addition, VISX (Volunteers in Service for Xenia) serves over 500 free thanksgiving dinners. This year the dinner will be served at the Xenia Adult Recreation and Services Center on East Church Street and they will deliver turkey dinners to shut ins. The Turkey Shoot donation has provided all the food for these dinners for the past eight years.

Last year's Turkey Shoot generated over $7,000. This was made possible by participation of over 103 golfers, 19 hole sponsors, many raffle prize donations, cart sponsors, and some generous cash donations. The first eight Turkey Shoots have generated over $21,000 in donations. This has gone far in helping thousands of people in need. We hope we can make the 9" annual bigger and better than ever. Can we count on you to help?

You may assist in any of the following ways:
   1) Sign up to play and for $50 you get golf, cart, tee prize, all the burgers, hot dogs, chili, corn, hot chocolate, and pop that you want and there is a contest on every hole
   2) Be a hole sponsor for $60
   3) Donate prizes for our raffle. Any donations are greatly appreciated
