CU Friday
High school students invited to preview the Cedarville University college experience.
Cedarville, Ohio—Some colleges live by strict schedules and one-size-fits-all approaches. But at Cedarville University, students are not faceless numbers stuck in a system—they’re unique individuals with personal passions and priorities.
With that in mind, Cedarville University invites high school students and their families to CU Friday. This event allows visitors to “custom design” their college visit. Guests may choose what matters most to them, whether meeting with faculty, coaches, or financial aid advisors, sitting in on classes, exploring the student center, or grabbing coffee at Rinnova, the campus coffee shop. Enjoy student-led chapel at 10 a.m., and grab lunch afterward. The dining hall offers an array of distinctive food options, including Mexican, home cooking, vegetarian, and one of the students' favorites—ice cream. Many informative sessions are hosted in the afternoon including a Q&A session with current students and a presentation by Dr. Carl Ruby, vice president for student life. The day finishes with tours of the residence halls—see why CU students call their room “home” and their hallmates “family.”
