Xenia Merchants to Celebrate September First Friday with Live Entertainment, Great Food, and Special Events

Building on the success of  two previous First Friday celebrations, the merchants of downtown Xenia will once again open their doors from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Friday, September 4th, offering a range of shopping and dining specials, giveaways, and plenty of live entertainment.

Music highlights include Ray Foster’s “Four to Go” Band playing on East Main Street, and folk music and storytelling with Bob Ford at Blue Jacket Books (60 S. Detroit), and a live band  on the patio at All Sports Bar & Grill (124 Xenia Towne Square). Kids and Adults alike can expect to be amazed and amused by the comic trickery of Xenia magician Dave Davis, who will be hanging out in front of the Xenia Gazette on South Detroit St. And dessert lovers will have their pick of a variety of tasty delights—including a Chocolate Fountain at Always Beautiful Salon (50 S. Detroit), a sweets tasting at the Sweets Boutique (28 E. Second), and free mini-cookies at Oasis Café (13 E. Main St).
