8th Annual Ride to Ripley
The Ride to Ripley will be held on Sunday June 28th with registration beginning at 11:00 am and leaving Buckminns Harley Davidson at 12 noon.
The purpose of the ride continues to be to promote motorcycle safety and awareness and is open to the public and free of charge. All makes and models of motorcycles are encouraged and groups of riders are welcome. Ride to Ripley T-Shirts, a 50/50 Drawing and a Poker Run will be available for those who are interested and each registrant will receive a door prize ticket just for participating. The Ride will make at least 3 stops to refuel, draw poker cards and enjoy some time to stretch before concluding in Ripley, Ohio at Snapper's on the Ohio River for Awards and Prizes. Riders are then free to enjoy some of the restaurants in the area and return at their leisure.
2 years ago the Ride contacted Greene County Community Foundation, d/b/a Greene Giving, and became a component of the 501(c)(3) charitable organization. Our goal has been to promote motorcycle safety and awareness by donating to local organizations that distribute products and information to the public. Past contributors have been Reynolds and Reynolds, Buckminns Harley Davidson, Roberts Cadillac, Dr. David Crandall DDS., Xenia Rotary, and The Xenia Barber Shop. The majority of the donations have come from the riders themselves. The ride is annually held on the last Sunday in June. Contact Information: 937.901.9713
