Music in the Park
Looking for something to do this summer? Join us for exciting activities brought to you by the Board for Recreation, Arts and Cultural Activities and Xenia City Council.
We invite Xenia citizens and their guests to enjoy a Summer Festival filled with entertainment... a schedule so diverse it is certain to please the taste of nearly everyone.
The 14-week schedule will be off to a rousing start on June 7, when Miami Valley's Most Wanted open the season at Shawnee Park. Performances by the Greene County Adult Band will be held on June 28 and on August 16. Throughout the season there will be a wide variety of musical sounds ranging from classical and ragtime to contemporary, country, jazz, blues and beyond.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsors and patrons, no admission is charged for any Music in the Park event. Simply bring your lawn chair or blanket and enjoy some time in Shawnee Park.
Shawnee Park, conveniently located near the downtown area, with acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, is an attraction for the entire family… the young and the young-at-heart. No matter what your choice or diversion may be – fishing, strolling, picnicking or just plain relaxing – Shawnee Park is yours to enjoy.
