SBA Offering 0% Interest Rate Loans through Participating Lenders
Columbus – Any small business that has been in business for at least two years, been profitable for at least one of the last three years and is currently having difficulty meeting current obligations should plan on attending a free seminar on Monday, June 15, 2009 at Columbus State University at 2:00 PM. The seminar will feature the new SBA American Recovery Capital (ARC) Loan Program. This program will enable small businesses to borrow up to $35,000 at 0% interest and have a deferred payment plan. Participating lenders will be present at the seminar.
The seminar is being co-sponsored by Senator Sherrod Brown and the US Small Business Administration. SBA will go over other new and enhanced SBA loan programs designed to help small businesses during these troubling times. In addition, other speakers from other federal and state agencies will explain their small business counseling services.
The seminar will run from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM with time to ask questions and meet one on one with the presenters and lenders following the seminar.
