Evans has worked tirelessly helping build her home and two others, mowing future lots, and supporting many Habitat activities.  She’s worked alongside Habitat work crews putting her blood, sweat, and the occasional splinter into building a home of her own.

Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to providing decent housing to families who cannot attain it on their own.  The Greene County affiliate is a non-profit, ecumenical housing ministry that seeks to eliminate poverty housing and homelessness in Greene County and in the world.  Habitat invites people from all walks of life to work together to build houses with families in mind.

The board of directors is always looking for volunteers with new ideas to serve on committees such as Fundraising, Partner Family Support, Church Relations, Publicity, and several others to keep our program running successfully.  For more information about participating in our mission, you can visit www.greenecountyhabitat.org or send an email to info@hfhgc.org.
