Xenia Area Business Votes

Local, state, and federal legislative advocacy for businesses and workforce

Welcome to the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce legislative and political advocacy action center. Here you'll find all the tools you'll need to contact city council members, county commissioners, state legislators, or your members of Congress. You can use this center to help your elected representatives at any level of government understand issues that are important to business and to the Ohio workforce or to learn and take part in the political process.

Your elected officials are meant  to represent your views and interests, but they need to hear from you to help them understand how to do so. You are in the best position to engage and educate them about the impact of laws and regulations upon your business and your workforce. Click on the links above and let your elected officials know how you feel about important issues.

When the election season heats up, find the latest voting requirements, locate your polling place, and learn more about the candidates running and the issues at stake at www.xeniaareabusinessvotes.com.

Thank you for taking the time to get involved.

Regards,

Barb Zajbel
President/CEO

The Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce is a partnership that promotes and fosters economic development, advocates business interests, and provides diverse investor benefits to create stronger businesses and a stronger community.

The Advocacy Committee of the Xenia Area Chamber of Commerce is committed to reviewing, developing, and supporting issues that promote a positive, pro-active business environment.  The chamber believes that laws and regulations should serve the public without acting as a detriment to business development and growth.  The committee makes recommendations to the Board of Directors related to such issues.  The Board of Directors then decide the chamber's position, if any, related to the specific issue.  The Board often, but not always, chooses to assume the same position as the Ohio Chamber of Commerce, or the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.  Links to positions taken will remain on this website.
